LED flex strips
FlexLED II is the cuttable LED strip with an M12 connector – connected like a sensor, not like a luminaire. Three versions, six lengths up to 5 metres, IP67 protection.
Light, status and position – right on the machine.
Depending on the version, FlexLED II lights up the working area, shows the state of a cell or marks a position. Examples from machine building, packaging and intralogistics.
FlexLED II White: Light where people work and carry out maintenance.
- Robot cell – Maintenance light inside the cell: White light inside the cell – anyone who has to go in for maintenance can see grippers, axes and cables.
- Workstation – Light on the work surface: Under the shelf or on the crossbar of the assembly table – the light falls where assembly happens.
- Control cabinet – Light for wiring: Flat on the door or under the cabinet roof – light where wiring and testing happen.
FlexLED II RGB-W: Status you can see across the whole hall.
- Robot cell – Cell status: Colour for the state of the cell, white for working inside it – visible across the whole hall.
- Packaging machine – Status per cell: Each cell of a packaging line shows its own state – the operator sees from outside where the problem is.
- AGV / AMR – Status on the vehicle: All around the vehicle contour: driving, charging or fault – recognisable from every side in production and warehouse.
- Safety fence – Status behind the fence: On the post or door frame: shows what state the system behind the fence is currently in.
- Loading dock – Docking status at the door: At the dock door: tells the driver whether they can dock or the door is occupied.
- Workstation – Status bar on the assembly table: White for working, colour for requests – for example when material is missing.
FlexLED II Pixel: Show where and how much – without a display.
- Woodworking – Positioning on the machine table: Along the table, exactly the section where the workpiece or stop has to go lights up.
- Lathe – Fill level in the bar loader: On the bar loader, the light bar shows how much material is left in the magazine – readable from the aisle.
- Packaging – Fill level of magazines and containers: Folding cartons, labels, film: the strip shows the remaining stock before the machine stops.

FlexLED II Pixel
12 V DC. Technical data will follow with the data sheet.
Plug in instead of wiring up.
FlexLED II comes with an M12 plug connector (A-coded) – the same connector standard that has long been established for sensors and actuators in the plant. The luminaire becomes part of the wiring instead of a foreign body with its own terminal point.
White and RGB-W run on 24 V DC, Pixel on 12 V DC. Dimming and control are optional via LED2WORK accessories – RGB-W, for example, with the RGB-W dimmer with M12 connector or with terminal.
Frequently asked questions
Can I cut the strip myself?
Yes. White can be cut every 50 mm (after every 8 LEDs), RGB-W every 100 mm (after every 7 LEDs). The cutting interval for Pixel will follow. A silicone adhesive for sealing the end caps is available as an accessory.
How is FlexLED II connected?
Via an M12 plug connector, A-coded, with a 0.3 m lead – 3-pin for White, 5-pin for RGB-W. White and RGB-W run on 24 V DC, Pixel on 12 V DC.
How do I mount the strip?
With the self-adhesive back (3M VHB tape), also on curved surfaces. A mounting clip set and a mounting profile set are available as accessories.
Can FlexLED II be dimmed or controlled?
Optionally via LED2WORK accessories. RGB-W is controlled digitally or via the LED2WORK RGB-W dimmer (M12 or terminal); the entire strip lights up uniformly. Control of Pixel will follow.
