Sealing kit for LED strips
Cutting to length is quick. It only stays sealed with the right end finish.
An LED strip is only as reliable as its weakest point, and that is almost always the cut point. Wherever a strip has been shortened, dust, moisture and coolants find their way in. Our sealing kit closes this gap cleanly and permanently, so that your lighting lasts as long as the machine it is installed on.
The one-component RTV silicone comes ready to use from the tube and cures at room temperature. You need no mixing, no hot air and no special tools. The fine dispensing tip places the silicone exactly where it belongs, even in narrow profiles and housings. Once cured, the transparent seal remains virtually invisible and the line of light looks continuous right to the last millimetre.
The matching end caps made of silicone rubber form-fit onto the end of the strip. Together with the silicone, this creates an end seal that withstands the conditions in production and automation.
We make no compromises on materials: the silicone and end caps are RoHS-compliant and tested by SGS for substances of very high concern.
